Therapeutic Ultrasound

Therapeutic Ultrasound is when ultrasonic sound waves are driven into target tissues by placing the ultrasound head over the affected area. The waves are able to break up the adhesions in the tissue and therefore give relief to the pet.

Thermal benefits are similar to those obtained with superficial heating. ultrasound application has the added benefit of heating deeper tissues with shorter treatment times.
