Merissa has been working with animals for twenty-seven years and has done roles from animal husbandry, training, diet & behaviour consulting, end of life care, tech assisting, and is currently working on becoming a Registered Veterinary Technologist through Penn Foster. When Merissa is at work, she works hard to create the most comfortable environment for our clients' pets and ensure that clients and their pets leave the clinic with a positive experience. She captures and creates a positive experience for your pet is through using a plethora of fear-free methods and using different techniques of holding pets for their procedures. When she is not at work or doing school, she is spending time with her husband Justin, a guinea pig named Gertrude, her cat Sofi, and tending to her insect collection. She also enjoys hiking, camping, crafting, and watching The Lord of the Rings extended edition.
