Born and raised in Brazil, Marina’s love for animals and passion for veterinary medicine developed at a young age. She pursued her dream by attending veterinary school in her home country and spent two years working in a busy 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital after graduation. Her journey into holistic veterinary care began with an extensive course in veterinary acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy, a field in which she quickly fell in love. In 2016, Marina made Canada her permanent home and has embraced the community and lifestyle with enthusiasm. Committed to providing the best care for her patients, she furthered her expertise with advanced training in veterinary acupuncture in the USA in 2023. Outside of her professional life, Marina enjoys spending her free time exploring the beautiful Canadian landscapes with her husband and two kids.
