Dr. Jantina McMurray

Jantina grew up on a farm in rural Alberta. She graduated from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she worked in a 24-hour emergency hospital before returning to the University of Calgary as a research assistant, sessional instructor, and communication coach. She recently returned to clinical practice because she enjoys building relationships with people and their pets. She has a strong focus on preventative care with a comprehensive approach to health that includes nutrition, lifestyle, environment, and behavior. She has special interests in dentistry and feline medicine - she's probably already obsessed with your cat! In her free time, she loves cross-country skiing and rock climbing with her husband.
